Call for Papers: MSA 2003

The 2003 meeting of the Mariological Society of America (May 21-24, 2003; Los Angeles) will be the third of three meetings: “The Marian Dimension of the Christian Life: Historical Perspectives.” The 2003 meeting will deal with 19th and 20th century developments, with special attention to Mary’s role in evangelization. The call is for papers on significant individuals and developments in Marian devotion in the 19th and 20th centuries, and the renewal of Marian devotion in older foundations after Vatican II. Particularly desired are papers on contemporary ecclesial movements, for example, the Legion of Mary, Focolari, the Neo-Catechumenate. A precis of the paper should be submitted to the MSA Secretary (Marian Library/University of Dayton/Dayton, OH 45469) by November 1, 2002.
