Q: Have you heard about the Sofferetti apparitions?
A: Julia's apparitions started on August 5, 1985 at the Sofferetti Oak (Calabria, Italy). The first published message from Our Lady there was in October 1985. Don Mario started to advise Julia in 1987.
Early in the 1990s Our Lord started to appear every Thursday 9:05a.m. in Julia's farmhouse in Thurio. About Lent 1992 the phenomena of the haemographic handkerchiefs manifested itself, with images in her stigmata blood depicting the Host with JHS and the message in Italian: I WILL COME.
Over the next few years these blood-message handkerchiefs were sent to the worldwide Hierarchy by Don Mario. In 1996 alone he personally mailed 800 of these handkerchiefs to Bishops on the 5 continents. In 1998 Julia received 8 secrets for the Pope and attempts have been made to get Don Mario an audience to tell the Holy Father these secrets.
On May 1st 1998 Our Lord asked for a room on the 3rd floor of Julia's house. This was built and inaugurated on October 12, 1985.
On August 30, 1991 Don Mario was asked about Julia's mystical phenomena. He says that Julia experiences the entire range of mystical phenomena: apparitions, locutions, visions, dictation during ecstasy, & crucifixion pains too.
