Call for Papers
Meeting of the Mariological Society of America A constant point of reference for the knowledge about Our Lady, Scripture and its interpretation act as a seismograph in determining contours and shades of our understanding of Mary. Thus, changing trends and varying methods of exegesis may have a non-negligible impact on our reading of Mary's person and role. The 2010 annual convention of the Mariological Society of America (May 18-21) would like to explore the influence, results and reactions that recent trends and methods in exegesis may have had on Mariology since Vatican II. Some aspects of the study entail the following:
