Presented are two of Victor Gohler's Marian masterpieces: Our Lady of Guadalupe, pictured
here,
and Our Lady of Mount Carmel.
Gohler is from Taos, New Mexico. He began his work at the age of thirteen
in the family studios. His interest in the saints led him to create santos
and retablos. Representations of Mary are frequently among his
works. |
