After years of classes in different art forms, Judy Zawacki discovered silversmithing.
A retirement project blossomed into a passion which has kept her working in the jewelry studio a the Neil Balkwill Center in Regina and at home. She credits the expertise and encouragement of her instructors, Megan Hazel and Melody Armstrong, with enabling her to increase her technical skills and enjoyment.
In her own words: "Jewelry
is much more satisfying to me than other mediums. I especially enjoy the design process. I am drawn to clean, simple shapes with a twist. I just love making jewelry."
